Hi! I’m Yinet! (pronounces Jeanette)
I'm a Cuban-Canadian, currently living in Osoyoos BC. I am a mom, tea lover and meaning seeker! My photography journey started out of a desire to document our life and my son’s growth, but rapidly evolved into a bigger purpose as I now get to create timeless memories for other people around the world. I have a love for hats, books and hiking adventures.
I'm very down to earth and calm by nature, which I find is a great asset amidst the business of a weddings day. I keep a smile on my face and bring a positive uplifting vibe to everything I do. I know times flies, and the ability to freeze a beautiful moment in space with your loved ones is a real treasure, and a privilege for me, so I deeply appreciate my clients and truly value the connection we create; some have even become dear friends to me in the process.
I like artistic photos, fun times and capturing candid expressions of love. Every single image I take becomes a portal back to that very second I took it; the feelings present within me, the smells around, the vibes of the day. Photography definitely is a bridge to mindfulness for me.
With over 4 years of experience, having photographed over 20 wedding and countless families, I can confidently document your beautiful day in a way that'll feel genuine to your love story.
I believe there is magic to be found in the most mundane moments. That beauty lays in authenticity, and that laughter is the best medicine. I enjoy quiet moments, and sitting down where I can close my eyes to feel my breath, and hear the sounds around me. I so enjoy dancing and singing my lungs out in the company of good friends, as well as couch snuggles while watching comedies with my loved ones. On my free days you can find me lost on the top of a mountain, exploring the wood with my camera in hand, celebrating nature and the slow Okanagan Life.
