Hello! I’m Yinet (pronounced Jeanette), a Cuban-Canadian living in beautiful Osoyoos, BC. As a mom, tea aficionado, and lover of all things meaningful, my journey into photography began with a heartfelt desire to capture my son’s milestones and the essence of our life together. What started as a personal endeavor has grown into a passion for crafting timeless memories for people around the globe.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me indulging in my love for hats, losing myself in a good book, or exploring the great outdoors on a hiking adventure. My calm, down-to-earth nature helps me stay centered even amidst the excitement of a wedding day. I approach each project with a warm smile and an uplifting spirit, believing that capturing beautiful moments is a true privilege.
I delight in creating artistic, candid photographs that encapsulate genuine emotions and joyful moments. Each image serves as a portal to that exact second, preserving the feelings, and ambiance of the day. Photography, for me, is a gateway to mindfulness and a way to savor life’s fleeting moments.
With over four years of experience and a portfolio of more than 20 weddings and countless family sessions, I’m dedicated to documenting your special day with authenticity and grace, reflecting your unique love story.
I believe there is magic to be found in the most mundane moments. That beauty lays in authenticity, and that laughter is the best medicine. I enjoy quiet moments, and sitting down where I can close my eyes to feel my breath, and hear the sounds around me. I so enjoy dancing and singing my lungs out in the company of good friends, as well as couch snuggles while watching comedies with my loved ones. On my free days you can find me lost on the top of a mountain, exploring the woods with my camera in hand, celebrating nature and the slow Okanagan Life.
