Jenny and Rick had the loveliest intimate wedding at the beautiful Spirit Ridge Resort, in Osoyoos BC. Spirit Ridge is not only special for its beauty, but also its history and the powerful energy of the land that holds it. Being able to get married at Spirit Ridge Resort is quite the blessing.

I enjoy photographing weddings at Spirit Ridge. Not only is Osoyoos home to me, but it’s one of the most beautiful places in the area to say “I Do”. With gorgeous views from the rooftop, to the lush vineyards and manicured grounds, the entire place is a photo opt! With amenities for the whole family and delicious food, this place will be a hit for your big day.

When Jenny told me they’ll be getting married at Spirit Ridge I was elated. I know the place well, which helps me work more efficiently to get my couples beautiful imagery while documenting their day. I’ve also found out that no matter what the weather is doing, the lighting is always nice because of the positioning of the building. From open shade if really sunny, to diffused soft light when overcast, we can find it all there for beautiful portraits and family formals.

Jenny wanted a first look, which is a really nice opportunity to see each other before the ceremony and have some quite moments before the business of the day unfolds. First looks can be quite emotional, and definitely beautiful.

With a beautiful ceremony, followed by coctail hour and a wonderful dinner, the last part of the agenda was setting up a B&W photobooth for the guests to get some fun photos of themselves.
